Step 2: Cut the leaves from the pineapple. Hold the stem of the pineapple with one hand and use the other hand to pull the stem off the stem. This method will ensure the base and leaf clusters are intact so the roots can grow from here.

Step 6: Prepare a pot of soil for planting.
